Pixel Cam

Pixel Cam is a small, playful camera tool inspired by the original Game Boy Camera. It turns your photos into chunky, pixel-style images using limited colour palettes, giving everything a slightly nostalgic, lo-fi feel. It started as a quick experiment, but quickly became something I actually wanted to use while out and about.

During a trip to London I ended up putting it through its paces, taking photos around the city and even fixing a broken version of the app from a train platform. You can install it on your phone and use it like a normal camera, even offline. It’s simple, a bit rough around the edges, and a lot of fun to experiment with.
